NQF 2006
CONCEPT
It’s often been said that we are today living in a world of interconnectedness
and operate in a global village. Multi-cultural organizations, cross-country
and cross-continental trading, multi-country operations-these are some of
the current realities that demonstrate the world has indeed become smaller.
While information technology has been key in all these, doing business
across borders is also made possible because of adherence to standards.
Specifically, quality systems and standards provide a common basis and
reference to ensure products and services are made in much the same way.
In effect, they serve as a “passport”: to elevate customer confidence and
organizational competitiveness.

“Our Quality Challenge: Consistency Amidst Change”, this year’s theme
for our 18th National Quality Forum, aims to focus on well-established
templates that have helped organizations continuously manage the
business and achieve growth.
The Forum will talk about quality systems and standards from various
perspectives: challenges at the international or global level; requirements
at the organization / industry level; and pace setters at the individual level.
